Job Description:

This travel contract positions registered nurses in a fast-paced trauma medical/surgical unit focused on both acute and chronic trauma care. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, with the chance to float within various units, including neuro, medical/surgical, and observation areas. The role is demanding but rewarding, requiring at least two years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting, familiarity with EPIC charting, and the ability to handle drips on all floors. You’ll be part of a team that cares for stable trauma patients transferred from emergency, ICU, or surgical units. This assignment offers a schedule of three nights a week, totaling 36 hours, with opportunities for flexible contracts of 13 or 26 weeks, and first consideration for those experienced at Level I academic medical centers. RNs must be prepared to work holidays and weekends, and the facility is a nicotine-free environment where professionalism and teamwork shine.
