Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse contract places you in a busy adult to geriatrics ICU, where you'll be taking on a challenging yet rewarding role for 14 weeks. Your days will be structured around 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with an average weekly commitment of 36 hours. You'll handle patients presenting with conditions such as ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, and Post-op complications, often working alongside a team in a facility equipped with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems. Expect to float within the unit, and be prepared for possible staffing with a patient ratio of 1:2-3. Certifications like BLS, ACLS, and NIH are required, and adult and geriatric patient populations will keep your skills sharp and focused. This assignment offers a balance of responsibility and camaraderie in a fast-paced ICU environment, with some weekends and major holidays required to ensure seamless patient care.
