Job Description:

This Radiation Therapist Manager role offers a unique opportunity to oversee radiation treatment areas utilizing Elekta systems, including Elekta tables and Hexapod technology. The position involves managing patient treatments for a variety of cancer types, including SRS and SBRT procedures, with both inpatient and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will handle a patient ratio of approximately 2:1 and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team that includes support staff, physicists, social workers, nutritionists, and licensed care providers. With a focus on customer service and technical proficiency in Elekta Mosaiq and Siemens CT simulators, you'll facilitate smooth daily operations. Expect to support the team with orientation tailored to experience level and participate in occasional weekend or holiday coverage during certain holidays. The schedule is Monday through Friday, typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 40-hour workweek for 13 weeks. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and the chance to make a significant impact in a well-resourced radiation oncology department.
