Job Description:

This registered nurse position on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) offers a unique opportunity to work in a 16-bed unit that handles a diverse patient population, including post-catheterization, diabetic ketoacidosis, and respiratory cases. The role involves managing patients with conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, COPD, and multisystem failure, with support from a multidisciplinary team. Expect to float within MedSurg, ICU, behavioral health units, and occasionally Brendan House for LTC patients. The shift is scheduled for 12-hour nights, and the assignment duration is 13 weeks, providing a chance to immerse yourself in a fast-paced yet rewarding environment.
