Job Description:

This 13-week contract positions you as an RN in a specialized CVICU setting, where you'll manage patients requiring intermediate care, primarily focusing on post-surgical and cardiac-related diagnoses such as CHF, A-fib RVR, and vascular conditions. The role involves handling complex medication drips like Amio, nitro, and epi, interpreting telemetry monitors, and coordinating care in a unit supported around the clock by hospitalists and cardiology on call. Expect to work 12-hour day or night shifts, with occasional floating to lower acuity units. The environment demands quick thinking, teamwork, and proficiency with advanced cardiac equipment.
