Job Description:

Step into a travel contract supporting Interventional Radiology at a busy academic medical center in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you’ll work with IR Body, Neuro IR, and Vascular Surgery teams, helping care for a range of cases such as liver failure, AVM, and multiple myeloma. Your day is built around 10-hour shifts (0630–1700) and includes call responsibilities—typically one night per week minimum, plus every fifth weekend minimum—so you’ll experience the pace and variety that comes with IR scheduling, procedures, and evolving needs.

You’ll apply your Interventional Radiology experience (at least 2 years, ideally with neuro IR) while working within a 7-bed unit and using Epic EMR. Expect to start IVs, monitor sedated patients, administer and manage sedation medications, monitor EKG, and administer blood. Common drips and medications may include Integrelin, TPA, Propofol, heparin, Fentanyl, and Versed. You’ll also have hands-on involvement with specialty equipment and setups as part of IR workflow, including ACT management, EKOS catheter setups, EVD/ICP monitoring, and lumbar drains.
