Job Description:

Step into a 13-week travel contract supporting a fast-paced pediatric unit environment as a PICU Registered Nurse in Charlottesville, Virginia. This role centers on night coverage (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00) with rotating coverage every other holiday. You’ll help ensure continuity across a six-week weekend schedule that includes 3 weekends, while staying flexible to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics as staffing needs require.

Ideal candidates bring PICU experience and peds cardiac experience is a plus. Current BLS and PALS are required. Submissions may be made with a Virginia license pending, and approved time off is available after onboarding (40 hours can be approved), with the first two weeks of the contract not eligible for time off.

Expect mild, changeable weather with comfortable days and cooler evenings. Bring layers—conditions can shift quickly, especially as temperatures move between the afternoons and nights.
