Job Description:

Step into a travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse role in St. Louis, Missouri, supporting adult IR procedures across body, vascular, and neuro specialties. You’ll work Monday through Friday on a 4x10 schedule, while also covering weeknight and occasional weekend call. Expect procedural-focused shifts where work may extend beyond your scheduled end time—once per week, you may be designated for “Backup” if procedures need to be completed.

This assignment is designed for RNs who can work independently and bring critical care strength to complex procedural work. Typical responsibilities include participating in IR procedures such as CT-guided studies, bone biopsies, and management support during interventions, with titration of drips/lines and use of specialized monitoring. Call coverage includes weeknights (Monday–Thursday, 1800–0730) occurring about 3–4 times during the 13-week contract, plus approximately 1–2 weekends (Friday 1800–Monday 0730). Additional weekend needs may include agency coverage every 5th or 6th Saturday from 0800–1600 as required.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years of experience with critical care background (ICU or ED) or a procedural background, BCLS and ACLS, and passing the Relias EKG exam with interpretation/management of dysrhythmias required. IR experience is not required, and first-time travelers are welcome.
