Job Description:

Join a travel nursing team in Scranton, Pennsylvania for a contract built around Interventional Radiology workflows. In this role, you’ll help support pre-op preparation, intra-procedure coordination, and post-procedure recovery as patients move through the IR process. You’ll administer moderate sedation and closely monitor patients during procedures, working alongside the team to keep procedures running smoothly from start to finish. This assignment follows a 4x10 hour day structure Monday–Friday, with rotating weekend and weekday coverage from 7:30pm–7:30am, plus holiday coverage when scheduled.

This position is a great fit for an RN with interventional radiology nursing experience. Level 1 or level 2 trauma center experience is preferred. If you enjoy varied, procedural-day rhythm—and the responsibility of sedation monitoring—this contract delivers a focused, hands-on assignment where your day-to-day work directly impacts the flow of IR cases. (A little adventure included: rotating shifts keep things interesting without sacrificing structure.)

Expect a mix of cool to mild conditions with occasional breezy days and regular seasonal precipitation. You’ll likely see comfortable daytime temperatures punctuated by cooler evenings, so layers are a good match for day-to-day weather.
