Job Description:

Join an Interventional Radiology team as an experienced Registered Nurse supporting adult IR procedures across body, vascular, and neuro specialties. This contract runs Monday through Friday with 10-hour days, and the work is procedure-focused, meaning shifts can extend when cases are in progress.

You’ll cover weekday interventional coverage with weeknight call typically Monday–Thursday from 6:00 PM–7:30 AM, occurring about 3–4 times during the 13-week assignment, plus occasional weekend call (Friday 6:00 PM–Monday 7:30 AM), expected roughly 1–2 weekends. Once per week, you may be designated “Backup” to stay beyond the scheduled shift to complete procedures when needed.

This role is ideal for a nurse with critical care experience (ICU or ED background) or a strong procedural background who can work independently in a procedural setting. EKG competency is required—pass the Relias EKG exam with interpretation/management of dysrhythmias. BLS and ACLS are required, and the ability to function without direct supervision is essential. No IR experience is required, and first-time travelers are welcome. Wear scrubs; plan for orientation parking details on site.

Expect a mix of mild-to-warm days and cooler evenings, with occasional breezy weather and the possibility of light rain. Layers are helpful as temperatures can shift throughout the day.
