Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced CT Tech role in Anchorage, Alaska, supporting a mix of inpatient, ER, and outpatient imaging across a true acute care setting. This contract is built around a consistent 3x12 day schedule (07:00–19:30), with guaranteed hours up to 40 and an expected weekly commitment of 36 hours. You’ll work with both inpatient and emergency-driven caseloads, including trauma-focused imaging and advanced CT procedures such as CT angiography (CTA), multiplanar reconstruction, CT arthrography, myelography, and contrast-enhanced studies for the abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions. The team also performs procedure-based work like drainage and biopsy, alongside IV starts and the use of contrast for a wide variety of cases.

Because the department serves a complex local population, cultural sensitivity is essential, including awareness of the unique social histories and circumstances many patients bring with them. Equipment includes GE systems, with charting via Cerner and PACS use. On-call is required, and while you may be asked to cover needs within your scope, the role is not intended to float to sister facilities.
