Job Description:

Step into a travel healthcare contract in Norfolk, Virginia, supporting complex post-procedure care for patients following cardiac interventions. This role operates on 12-hour nights with a consistent 36.0 hours per week, where you’ll work alongside a team managing post-cardiac surgery and PCI-related needs.

Your day-to-day will focus on coordinated bedside care tasks tied to advanced therapies and high-acuity monitoring, including managing continuous drips such as vasopressin, nitro, antiarrhythmics, insulin, and heparin. You’ll also assist with specialized equipment and interventions, including epicardial pacer boxes, trach support, PEGs, and chest tubes (CT). When patients require level-of-care adjustments, you may float to Tele/MS as needed while following unit staffing patterns (PCU and Tele/MS).
