Job Description:

Join a travel CVICU Registered Nurse contract in Columbus, Ohio, supporting advanced critical care workflows in a fast-moving cardiovascular unit. This position runs on 12-hour nights (3x12), with weekday coverage plus some weekends and rotating holidays. You may be asked to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity, so your versatility and readiness to adapt to different workflows will be key.

In this role, you’ll work with specialized cardiovascular ICU functions and technologies, including telemetry, ventilators, IV starts, Swan-Ganz catheter management, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and PA lines. Epic experience is required, and previous travel experience is preferred. BLS and ACLS are required, and at least 2 years of cardiac ICU experience is preferred.

On this assignment, you’ll experience a structured 36-hour weekly schedule with up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period (Friday/Saturday for nights), while collaborating in a team that relies on your ability to stay sharp through a full overnight shift.
