Job Description:

Join a medical/surgical team in Farmington, New Mexico as a travel healthcare professional on a 12-hour night contract. This role supports a Med/Surg unit within a Level II trauma center serving the Four Corners region, where cases may come from a wide geographic area. Expect focused, night-shift work in an acute care medical setting, with responsibilities that align to a typical Med/Surg workflow and the unit’s commonly seen diagnoses and treatments.

You’ll work a consistent 12 hour nights schedule (7P–7A), with 36 hours per week guaranteed, and opportunities to take on weekend shifts in line with facility policy. The unit uses Cerner and is equipped with tools such as VS machines, bladder scanners, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps. Expect cool nights and comfortable daytime temperatures, with dry conditions and plenty of clear skies. Light winds and temperature swings are common, so layers are helpful for both work and time outdoors.
