Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Neuro Cardiac Unit MS/Tele team as a travel RN on 12-hour days, supporting complex Med/Surg/Tele cases while working with a staff known for being welcoming and fun. This assignment includes telemetry monitoring and advanced neuro assessment tasks such as NIHSS and dysphagia screening, along with managing post-procedure recovery work related to heart cath interventions (including femoral and TR band care). You will care for patients with neurologic events and cardiac conditions, including CVA/TIA and patients with ICDs, and you may support complex post-operative cases such as crani POD 2 and more involved abdominal surgical recoveries.

Shift details: 12-hour days from 6:30-7, with floats based on your skillset. Float may occur first within the primary campus and potentially to a nearby campus if needed, with mid-shift float within the same campus (cross-campus mid-shift is unlikely but possible). Telemetry responsibilities require travelers to pass the unit’s tele test, and you’ll perform initiation/titration of common drips (including insulin, cardiac, and heparin). Charting uses Epic, and you may be required to complete a checkoff class.
