Job Description:

Join a beachside Labor & Delivery team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Santa Monica, California. You’ll support high-risk obstetrics with fetal heart monitoring across antepartum and labor spaces, performing care for both scheduled and emergent deliveries, including C-sections and vaginal deliveries. Night shifts follow a 3x12-hour schedule, with no call required, and you may float to postpartum if needed.

This assignment includes working within multiple areas such as antepartum rooms, labor/high-risk rooms, and triage, using Epic charting. The team prioritizes strong readiness for AWHONN Advanced fetal monitoring (or NCC acceptable) along with key certifications—BLS, ACLS (AHA for ACLS/BLS), NRP, and FHM. If you’re comfortable stepping into newborn-related roles during delivery (and can support postpartum as required), you’ll fit right in—couplet care may be possible depending on staffing.
