Job Description:

Step into a travel healthcare contract in Grand Marais, Minnesota, supporting a rural Critical Access hospital where your work keeps pace with a broad mix of needs across the Emergency Department and Med/Surg. This assignment is built for ED nurses who can flex—travelers will work in both units, with cross-training commonly happening quickly at this facility.

You’ll be on a 12-hour night schedule with weekend requirements of either every other weekend or every 3rd weekend. Expect a fast, varied shift rhythm: from triage flow in the ED to Med/Surg continuity during quieter stretches, all within a team that relies on dependable, specialty-trained nurses.

Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty is required. Your submission packet should include ACLS, BLS & PALS, and you must hold an MN nursing license (or include a copy of your application for a temporary MN Nursing license). Meditech is the EMR.

Weather:

Expect cool, crisp conditions with frequent overcast skies and a mix of breezy days and light precipitation. Mornings and evenings tend to feel colder, so layering is key.
