Job Description:

Join the team in York, Pennsylvania as an ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment supporting a Level 1 Trauma Center. You’ll work 12-hour mids (3:00 PM–3:00 AM), including weekends and holidays as needed, and you may float to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU). This role is ideal for an RN who can thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity emergency settings—where patients may transition from the main ED into the ETCU while they complete testing, wait for consultations, or await inpatient placement.

The ETCU is an emergency expansion with telemetry available on all beds, including negative pressure rooms. Your day-to-day will include continuing core nursing interventions begun in the main ED, collaborating with the unit team through patient disposition, and adapting quickly when rotating between the ED and ETCU based on staffing needs.

Requirements include 2+ years of ER experience, ACLS, BLS, and PALS. First-time travelers are not accepted. Pre-screening by clinical is required prior to the manager interview.
