Job Description:

Step into a travel travel healthcare contract as a Step-Down Registered Nurse in Dayton, Ohio, supporting a unit that relies on attentive telemetry monitoring. This assignment centers on working with Telemetry (Tele), with surgical experience being important—especially when it comes to reading and interpreting tele strips accurately.

You’ll work a night schedule with three 12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30). The unit runs with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4/5 and operates in a 39-bed setting. EPIC experience is required, and IV start certification is expected, along with ACLS and BLS.

Flexibility matters: depending on placement, floating may include Main Campus (Dayton), South Campus (Centerville), and North Campus (Englewood), all within close proximity. You’ll also need to be available to work every other weekend/holiday.

Expect a mix of comfortable days and cooler evenings, with the season often bringing fresh, breathable air and occasional rain. Mornings can feel crisp, so layering is helpful.
