Job Description:

Travel RN needed for a 13-week contract providing home dialysis services in the Burlington, Vermont area. This role is an essential fit for an experienced home dialysis nurse who has worked in an outpatient/home setting—training patients on home dialysis and supporting ongoing home dialysis therapy using Baxter PD cycles and NxStage home hemodialysis equipment. You’ll float as needed to nearby locations including St. Albans and Berlin prior travel experience is preferred.

Shift structure is 8-hour days, Monday through Sunday, with no weekends required and no block scheduling for any reason. Bi-weekly orientations occur on Mondays. The assignment is limited to 13 weeks (FMLA/LOA) and requires flexibility to support the weekly schedule.

Requirements include BLS certification and Epic experience within the past 2 years. Minimum outpatient experience of 1 year is required, caring for chronic renal patients (ESRD). You’ll work with an ESRD-focused workflow and bring hands-on home dialysis expertise from an outpatient environment.

Weather:

Expect a mix of cool, crisp days and mild evenings, with changing skies and occasional breezy conditions. Plan for light precipitation at times and dress in layers for comfort.
