Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced Neuro ICU travel contract in Wausau, Wisconsin, where your nights focus on high-detail neuro assessments and hands-on critical care bedside procedures. This role supports an 8-bed neuro unit caring for patients with stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery needs, with opportunities to assist with neuro-specific bedside placements such as bolts and drains. You’ll float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU, and occasionally to other critical care or inpatient units as needed.

Expect 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours per week, plus every other weekend and every other holiday. The contract also includes eligibility for 36 hours of low-census unbillable hours, which may be scheduled in hour increments (commonly 4-hour blocks) and is not considered on-call. If you enjoy deep neuro focus, independent performance, and adapting quickly when assignments shift, this is the travel experience to watch for.
