Job Description:

Step into a fast-moving Operating Room setting where your day-to-day work supports a wide variety of adult and pediatric procedures across multiple specialties. This 12-hour evening shift runs 10:30A–11P with call required, and you’ll see the OR team handle cases across ENT, General, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Ortho, Spine, and Neurosurgery.

You’ll rotate through evolving case types and may experience shift coverage needs, including options such as EOS (7P–11P) or overnight (7P–7A), as well as Backup Call (BUC) 3P–7A. Call averages approximately 4 times per month at the facility—so you’ll want to be comfortable with variety and staying sharp between cases. Epic EMR is used, and BLS is required; CNOR is preferred.

To be considered, you must have at least 2 years of OR experience, with pediatric OR experience required. Degree accreditation must be on your profile, or you must have 5 years of experience. Prior travel experience is highly preferred. Floating is required—travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses. Culture matters here: you’re expected to function as core staff and integrate smoothly with the unit team.

Weather:

Expect warm, humid conditions with plenty of sunshine and occasional brief rain showers. Evenings can feel comfortably breezy, making it easy to get outside between shifts.
