Job Description:

Step into a fast-moving CVOR role supporting a high-volume operative schedule in Wausau, Wisconsin. In this travel contract, you’ll scrub for cardiac/thoracic cases, help set up and turn over the operative suite between procedures, and stay ready for call-back. Your day-to-day includes preparing the operative environment, going through case carts to confirm supplies are available, and efficiently scrubbing across a variety of specialties. The team performs frequent cardiothoracic work, with approximately 50–60 cases per month, and you may encounter thoracic robotic experience needs as part of the case mix.

The assignment is built around reliability and readiness—especially with a structured call schedule and a 30-minute response expectation for being prepared and in the OR when needed. When downtime happens, you’ll also help with practical unit tasks such as pulling case carts and supporting room readiness.

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin (333 Pine Ridge Boulevard, 54401)

Shift: 8 hour days, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
