Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced hemodialysis travel role in Portland, where you’ll support patients across the lifespan while staying grounded in strict regulatory requirements. In this Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) position, you’ll manage hemodialysis sessions with a focus on clinical stability, venous access oversight, and infusion coordination during treatment. You’ll also oversee the technical aspects of the hemodialysis machines and stay engaged in the details that keep water treatment running safely and reliably.

This assignment includes hands-on responsibilities that extend beyond treatment: providing patient/family/public education, supervising dialysis technicians from start to finish, performing surveillance and testing of dialysis water treatment equipment and dialysis water (including chlorine, hardness, conductivity, and water cultures), and contributing to quality improvement work through data collection for the unit’s Quality Assurance Improvement (QAI) plan.

Experience with acute hospital settings and pediatric experience are required, with flexibility to work both consistent day shifts and occasional overnight call.

Shift: 12 hour days (07:00 - 19:30); Call 1-2 times/week (19:00 - 07:00)

Duration: 13 weeks
