Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Respiratory Therapist travel assignment in Columbus, Georgia, supporting a Level 2 trauma center and an interventional stroke–certified program. This night shift role focuses on respiratory diagnostics and respiratory support across a wide age range, from infants to geriatrics—working primarily with adult RRT needs while also supporting pediatric intubated patients when required.

You’ll manage non-invasive and conventional ventilation, aerosol therapy, oxygen delivery, and bedside pulmonary function testing (including spirometry, preferred). The work includes performing arterial line duties, drawing arterial blood gases and capillary blood gases (including from lines), and supporting arterial line/ABG workflows. Expect a role where you’ll be actively using equipment and systems such as Epic, Pyxis, SBAR, Viasys Vela, and GE Carescape, with Viasys Avea as well.

Night shift schedule is 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00), and weekends rotate every other weekend unless otherwise specified. Floating is possible within the facility and sister campus (Piedmont Columbus Northside). Trauma experience is required for this assignment.
