Job Description:

Join a travel Respiratory Therapist team at a Level 2 trauma center in Columbus, Georgia, where your skills power real-world respiratory and neurodiagnostic support across a wide age range—infants through geriatrics, with an emphasis on adult RRT and experience supporting pediatric intubated patients as needed. This night shift assignment offers a consistent rhythm: 12-hour nights running 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00, delivering 36.0 hours per week over a 24-week contract.

You’ll manage both non-invasive and conventional ventilation, deliver aerosol therapy, perform bedside pulmonary function testing (including spirometry when available), and support arterial line work. Expect hands-on respiratory diagnostics including arterial blood gases and capillary blood gases, plus oxygen management and sampling from lines. The facility also supports interventional stroke services and maintains a Level 3 NICU with regional transport resources—so trauma experience is required and a readiness to adapt quickly is part of the job. This role includes equipment and workflow familiarity in Epic, Pyxis, SBAR, Viasys Vela, and GE Carescape / Viasys Avea.
