Job Description:

Join a travel contract as a Registered Nurse supporting MS/Tele units in Omaha, Nebraska, providing reliable coverage across major holiday periods. This assignment is built around 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00) with a fast-paced float model—travelers are first to float and should be prepared to flex between units based on facility staffing needs. You’ll work on Medical/Surgical and Telemetry-focused units, including options such as Observation, Stepdown/PCU, Neuroscience, Trauma, and specialty MS/Tele areas, with the possibility of being placed at Nebraska Medical Center or its sister campus in Bellevue (approximately 16 minutes away).

Holiday coverage is a core part of this role: staff are required to work 2 of the 3 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. On all floors, drips are required, and Epic charting experience is expected. The facility also emphasizes NICOTINE-FREE operations and requires BLS; ACLS is strongly preferred. Travelers should be ready to provide consistent, accurate work across multiple unit needs while wearing Steele gray scrubs with the Nebraska Medicine logo (facility-provided guidance follows confirmation).
