Job Description:

Join a surgical oncology medical-surgical team as an Oncology Registered Nurse on a 12-hour rotating schedule in Aurora, Colorado. This travel contract is centered on supporting patients with established cancer diagnoses as they work toward post-op milestones for discharge. You’ll handle a surgical oncology caseload that focuses primarily on the abdomen and pelvic area, including gynecologic oncology, colorectal, pancreatic, liver, and stomach-related conditions—without the need to administer chemotherapy or biotherapy.

Charting is completed in Epic, and you should be comfortable with flexible staffing ratios based on unit needs. Teaching-hospital experience is required, and the oncology skills checklist is also required to be considered. Expect to float as required within scope, including potential floating to sister facilities when staffing needs call for it.
