Job Description:

Join our team as a travel PACU Registered Nurse in New Orleans, Louisiana, supporting surgical/procedural patients across major services in a fast-moving perioperative recovery setting. You’ll work a 5x8-day schedule (07:00–15:30), providing pre-op through Phase I and Phase II recovery for both pediatric and adult populations.

This assignment includes regional anesthesia support and opportunities to gain experience across multiple OR areas, including pediatric-focused volume on one floor and additional procedural services on another. You may also be assigned to an “Emergency Team,” with an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or to support as part of a relief team—specific pay details are provided with each emergency event.

You must be comfortable floating to pediatric PACU as needed. Epic experience is required. Preferred candidates have PACU or pre/post-op background. The role supports weekly weekend scheduling of 2–3 shifts per contract, with 40 hours per week and Epic documentation.

Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and PALS.
