Job Description:

Join a travel nursing assignment with North Alabama Medical Center as an RN in Labor and Delivery on 12-hour nights (7p–7a). Over a 15-week contract in Florence, Alabama, you’ll work 36 guaranteed hours per week and contribute to postpartum flow through scheduled shifts, including floating to postpartum as needed. The weekly orientation on Mondays sets you up with the unit routine, systems, and expectations before you begin your nightly schedule.

In this role, your day-to-day focus centers on fetal monitoring and assessment, rapid emergency response, and postpartum care. You’ll use EHR platforms including Centricity and Meditech while supporting adult patient needs in a 3rd-floor Labor and Delivery setting. This position is a strong match for an RN with at least 3 years of experience who thrives on attention to detail, stamina, and teamwork.

Required certifications: ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, EFM, and BLS.
