Job Description:

Join a surgery team in Chattanooga, Tennessee, working as an experienced surgical technologist/travel contract professional with a strong background in orthopedic and spine cases. This assignment supports a busy mix of total joints, spine fusions, and neurosurgical procedures, including craniotomies, along with robotic and general surgical specialties such as urology, and cardiovascular procedures including open heart.

You’ll work 10-hour days (40 hours per week) with scheduling options of 7a-3p or 7a-5p. The unit runs on Meditech documentation and includes surgery board runner support, with equipment such as electrosurgical devices, Neptune suction, and patient positioning devices. A highlight of this role is exposure to advanced neurosurgical technology, including the Synaptive Medical Modus V robotic digital microscope—described as the only system of its kind in Tennessee.

Required qualifications include CST (National certificate required) and BLS. Tennessee licensure is also required. Previous experience circulating in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures is strongly preferred, with neurosurgical and general/robotic experience ideal.
