Job Description:

MDH is seeking a dedicated Travel X-Ray Technologist with strong computed tomography (CT) experience to join its imaging team for a 13-week contract. In this role, you’ll perform a variety of general imaging studies, including X-rays and CT scans, using established protocols while ensuring each exam is completed efficiently and accurately. You’ll use Merge-PACS along with Cerner/HIS and RIS systems to document results and manage image storage and retrieval through PACS.

The assignment is structured around 8-hour day shifts (8:30 AM–5:00 PM) with weekend and holiday needs. The work is broad—floating between inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging as required—so you’ll stay engaged throughout the week. A radiologist is available in-house to support imaging processes. There is no requirement for IV starts or on-call duties.

This position is a great fit for a Radiologic Technologist who is ARRT-registered and currently licensed by the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety, with current BLS/CPR certification and prior CT experience. Familiarity with GE, Philips, Carestream, and Siemens equipment is preferred.
