Job Description:

Join a 3rd Medical unit team in Portsmouth, NH, providing hospital-based med-surg support on 12 hour nights. This role is built around bedside shift report, hourly safety rounding, and real personal connections that keep care seamless across a busy telemetry-focused floor. You’ll monitor telemetry, complete EKGs as needed, and perform common unit procedures such as CBI, wound care, drain management (including chest tubes and Jackson Pratt), Foley insertion, and central line dressing changes. IV certification is required, and you’ll also be expected to maintain strong documentation using Meditech Expanse.

This assignment is ideal for an experienced traveler who enjoys night shift workflow and can float within the same level of care. The schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays, with self-scheduling available while leadership balances coverage needs.
