Job Description:

Join our team for a 17-week travel healthcare contract focused on primary care nursing in a busy, high-acuity hospital setting. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, providing essential support on Acute Care and Cardio units. This role involves managing patients with conditions like CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, dialysis, post-surgical overflow, amputations, wound care, DVTs, ETOH, and psych. While nurses do not read strips, you'll handle a variety of complex cases and work closely with CNA staff. The environment requires quick thinking, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety. You will not take patient assignments but will be available to assist as needed. Experience with high-acuity, fast-paced hospitals, especially larger organizations, is essential. The role emphasizes primary care nursing, patient satisfaction, and quality of care, with strict adherence to attendance policies. PPE protocols include Caribbean Blue and white uniforms, and you’ll rotate weekends with permanent staff.
