Job Description:

Step into an in-hospital nursing contract in Oklahoma City, supporting Med/Surg and Stepdown care with a focus on hands-on, day-to-day clinical work across a range of patient conditions. In this role, you’ll assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, obtain and monitor physiological data, and document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments—capturing changes in physician orders as they happen.

You’ll administer medications as prescribed, initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products, and assist physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments. You’ll also collaborate with patients and families by sharing care plans while in the hospital and at discharge, help inform families of hospital procedures, and make appropriate referrals for care needs. Delegating tasks to support staff is part of how you’ll keep care running smoothly across your shift.

Expect typical late-season Oklahoma weather with comfortable daytime temperatures, cooler evenings, and the occasional windy or stormy day. Most days are bright and clear enough to get out and explore between shifts.
