Job Description:

Join a Level 1 Trauma Center as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Lansing, MI, for a contract lasting 13 weeks. You’ll be working 12-hour midshift rotations from 1:00 PM to 1:30 AM, providing critical care in a setting known for its high patient acuity and fast pace. This role involves handling a patient load with ratios ranging from 5 to 8 patients, often requiring quick thinking and adaptability. The position includes working three weekends per four-week schedule, with some days potentially extending into long, rewarding shifts. Expect to float to pediatric areas as needed and stay ready for a variety of emergency scenarios. Registered nurses with Level I trauma experience, current state licensure, and certifications like ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and NIH are encouraged to apply.
