Job Description:

This ER RN position in Lufkin, TX offers a 13-week contract working 12-hour day shifts. You'll be stationed in a bustling emergency department with 24 beds and three trauma bays, managing a daily patient volume of around 80-90. Your role will involve handling trauma, stroke, sepsis, CHF, and cardiac cases, often independently managing triage and patient flow. Experience in emergency medicine is required, with certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and TNCC. You'll collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and charge nurses, while utilizing your skills to interpret ECG rhythms and assist with respiratory treatments. No patient care or direct patient interaction involves your responsibilities, focusing instead on supporting critical protocols and equipment in a fast-paced ER setting.
