Job Description:

This contract role involves supporting surgical teams by sterilizing, inspecting, assembling, and packaging a variety of surgical products in a fast-paced hospital environment. You'll work closely with operating room staff to ensure all instruments and supplies are properly prepared and ready for each case. The position offers an active daytime schedule with an afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, requiring attention to detail and a proactive approach to supply coordination. Your tasks will include monitoring sterilization processes using steam, ETOH, Sterrad, and high-level disinfectants, along with documenting procedures to ensure compliance. An engaging aspect of this role is the opportunity to collaborate with surgical teams to anticipate instrumentation needs, ensuring smooth procedures for patients and staff alike.
