Job Description:

Join a fast-paced orthopedic and neuro spine unit as an Orthopedic Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract, working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. The role involves managing post-surgical orthopedic and spine patients, many of whom require diligent pain management and telemetry monitoring. You’ll be expected to float within the facility as needed and provide care for a patient load typically ranging from five to six patients, with potential flexibility up to seven. This assignment offers a dynamic environment where your expertise in IV starts, telemetry, and post-op care will be essential to maintaining smooth patient flow. Premium skills such as ACLS, charge nurse experience, and Level I trauma experience are preferred, but the core requirement is at least two years of orthopedic nursing background. RTO restrictions are in place, so planning accordingly is important. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting requiring quick thinking and a steady hand, this could be an excellent fit.
