Job Description:

This contract opportunity is perfect for experienced Medical-Surgical RNs looking to expand their skills in a hospital setting known for its teaching environment. You will be working on a 41-bed unit, primarily during overnight shifts, managing post-surgical patients, those with infections like UTI and sepsis, and high fall risk individuals. The role includes managing chest tubes, NG/PEG placements, Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood products, and tracheostomies. Emphasis is placed on strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with a chance to precept students and new hires. Expect to float within the same campus and potentially to nearby campuses with prior notice, ensuring a versatile experience with a resilient team that values independent judgment and quick decision-making.
