Job Description:

This travel contract offers a focused opportunity for a Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse eager to manage adult to geriatric patients in a high-volume cardiac unit. You'll be responsible for overseeing patients with arrhythmias, performing cardioversion, and managing complex IV medication drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, and Milrinone—all while navigating the use of Epic and Pyxis systems. The role includes floating within the medical/surgical scope, working a 12-hour day shift, and coordinating care for a diverse patient population, with occasional overflow cases including post-cardiac cath, vascular, and orthopedic patients. Prior experience with continuous IV medications and familiarity with arrhythmia management are essential to ensure smooth workflow in this fast-paced environment.
