Job Description:

This ER Registered Nurse position offers a chance to work at a Level I Trauma Center with a focus on acute emergency care in Lansing, MI. Expect to handle a high patient volume, with patient ratios ranging from 1:5 to possibly 8 during busy periods or holidays. The role involves floating to units such as Pediatrics, managing complex trauma cases, and utilizing your expertise in triage, dysrhythmia management, and EPIC charting. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with annual commitments of 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract. Weekend work is required, involving three weekends per four-week period, with flexible work during these days. This assignment invites experienced trauma nurses ready to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that values your skill set and certification credentials.
