Job Description:

Join the team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse at Miami Valley Hospital, a level 1 Trauma Center in Dayton, Ohio. This 13-week contract involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a busy orthopedic unit. You'll be caring for patients recovering from trauma, surgeries, and orthopedic injuries, with responsibilities including managing heart monitors, drains, PCAs, and Ketamine infusions. The unit operates under a team nursing model, partnering RNs, LPNs, and PCTs to divide tasks efficiently while focusing on quality patient care. This role offers a chance to collaborate in a high-acuity setting, with some floating across specialty clusters as needed. The schedule will keep you busy but engaged, helping hone your skills in a fast-paced trauma environment. The pay is approximately $1,703.83 gross weekly with a commitment of 36 hours per week.
