Job Description:

Join us as a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry in Shreveport, Louisiana, for a 13-week contract. This role focuses on caring for post-operative urology patients, including those recovering from robotic radials, prostatectomies, and nephrectomies, as well as managing a variety of medical-surgical cases such as sepsis, CHF, COPD, and COVID-19. The shift is 12 hours during nights, offering a balanced yet challenging experience. You'll be actively involved in wound management, telemetry interpretation, and supporting a team with a focus on educational opportunities around urology procedures. This position requires passing an EKG competency exam and having at least 2 years of acute care RN experience, especially for first-time travelers. The setting offers a chance to enhance your skills in a new specialty, all within a well-supported hospital environment.
