Job Description:

Join a busy Obstetrics and Birth Center as a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work 12-hour night shifts in a unit equipped for high-risk pregnancies, including preeclampsia, diabetic pregnancies, and social/emotional challenges. You'll circulate independently during deliveries, assist with catching newborns, and support transitioning babies to their families. The environment is lively, with approximately 150-180 deliveries each month, and the team includes a dedicated surgical tech and in-house neonatology and anesthesia providers available 24/7. This assignment is perfect for experienced LDRP nurses comfortable with titrating drips like Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin, and who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting that values adaptability and patient safety.
