Job Description:

Join our team as a Laboratory Technologist (MLT or MT) on a 13-week contract in Machias, Maine. This role offers the chance to work evening shifts, with weekend rotations, performing detailed laboratory tests across hematology, immunology, bacteriology, and chemistry. You'll handle specimen processing, calibrate and maintain lab instruments, and ensure accurate, timely reporting of test results that assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Independent judgment, professional certification, and familiarity with laboratory safety protocols are essential. It’s a hands-on position designed for someone eager to apply their technical expertise in a supportive hospital environment, with opportunities to assist in training and process development.
