Job Description:

Join a specialized Critical Care unit in Prescott, AZ, as an Acute Care RN focusing on cardiovascular and surgical services within a 14-bed PCU. This role involves managing patients recovering from cardiac procedures, including post-CABG, STEMI, NSTEMI, and other complex cardiovascular cases. You'll work 12-hour day or night shifts, with flexibility for scheduling four shifts per week if desired. Expect to float to the ICU and MS/Tele units, requiring familiarity with arterial lines, sheath pulls, and invasive monitoring. The unit features advanced equipment like Philips cardiac monitors, Zoll R series, Pyxis Med dispensers, and Cerner EMR. Prior experience of at least one year in a PCU setting is required, along with ACLS/BLS certification and active Arizona nursing licensure. This opportunity offers a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and expertise in cardiovascular procedures are essential. The staffing ratio is approximately 1 RN to 3-4 patients, depending on acuity, and dress code adherence is expected, with business-appropriate attire and navy scrubs.
