Job Description:

Join Central Maine Hospital in Lewiston, ME, as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel assignment working nights in the Cardiology and Telemetry unit. You'll be caring for adult patients recovering from cardiac procedures, managing cardiac drips, and interpreting dysrhythmias, all while helping monitor patients with conditions such as stroke, CHF, and arrhythmias. This role offers the chance to develop your skills in a teaching hospital setting, with a focus on post-op cardiac care and emergency response. The shift runs from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours across three 12-hour nights. No call responsibilities, and every other weekend is required, providing a balance of work and personal time. Equipment includes Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, cardiac monitors, and defib devices, with electronic health records via Epic and Omnicell systems.
