Job Description:

Join the respiratory therapy team at a renowned teaching hospital in St. Louis, MO, for a 26-week travel contract working night shifts. You'll work three 12-hour overnight shifts each week, primarily in intensive care units and patient floors, with a rotating third-weekend schedule. This role offers a mix of challenging airway management, ventilator troubleshooting, and medication administration, including inhaled therapies and nitric oxide. Occasional precepting of respiratory therapy students is part of the experience. Candidates should bring their RRT credentials, Missouri license, BLS certification, and at least two years of experience managing both acute and chronic respiratory conditions. The position emphasizes independent management of mechanically ventilated patients, with opportunities to develop advanced skills in airway management and ARDS treatment, all while experiencing the unique atmosphere of a busy Level Trauma hospital.
