Job Description:

Join our team for a rewarding 13-week travel assignment in the Operating Room at a vibrant facility in San Luis Obispo, CA. This role involves supporting a busy OR suite with approximately 15-20 cases daily, primarily including orthopedic procedures like total joints, general, gynecology, and pediatric cases—no cardiac cases required. You’ll work variable 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week, with a schedule set by the manager, offering a blend of days and times. Certification in sterile processing and at least 2 years of OR experience are essential. The position emphasizes versatility, collaboration, and a focus on high-volume orthopedic case support, with opportunities to work with experienced techs and RN scrubbing staff. Expect a fast-paced environment where your technical skills keep the surgical schedule flowing smoothly, but no on-call coverage is required unless during emergencies. This assignment offers an excellent way to explore California’s Central Coast while doing meaningful work in a supportive team setting.
